The NEW Hunter Green Camo.

Now Cut in the same design as the Indi Denim Kilts with Cargo Pockets, 2" Belt Loops all the way around and two sets of snap studs on the waistband.

The Hem and Pleats are sewn for easy iron and to keep the shape, this is an improved Lighter Kilt only around 1 kilo in weight, made from a Polly/Cotton mix and is water resistant, this Kilt was Designed for the Hiker / Walker In mind and is very easy to clean, if you spill anything on it as long as you are quick it will just brush off!

Machine washable at low 40c.

Measurements: Please note the cut off all our Kilts are made for wearing on the waist / belly button, make sure you measure yourself around your true waistline Belly button / Naval and not around your hips or where you wear your trousers.

If you want to wear your Kilt on your hips then measure around your hips or where you want it to be and double check the length required and we can bespoke the correct length you will require, normally with a two week turnaround, (outside of peak periods)

Available from stock from 30 to 42 waist with a 23 inch drop.

When this kilt arrived I must say I was surprised at just how light it was. Aimed at walkers and ramblers the quality of design and cut is superb with a good strong camo pattern that is right through the cloth rather than a surface printing. It looked superb on me and fitted a treat.
However I have to admit I returned it and received a prompt refund because I felt the cloth was just too light for the sort of weather I usually encounter when out on the hills. The light breeze outside was moving it about just too easily and I felt I would be in danger of losing my modesty and frightening the sheep in anything stronger.
Where I think this kilt would TOTALLY score is if you were going on holiday to somewhere seriously hot and humid. You would look cool, stay cool and it would not weight your suitcase down.
Personally I am waiting for UnionKilts to produce a kilt that looks just like this, still shower proof,. but is fully weighted and warm lined.

I am very please with this kilt. I have now worn it a few times, the last being whilst doing the Three Peaks walk in Yorkshire last Tuesday.

I find it very comfortable to wear and I like the pocketing arrangements. My only criticism is that I think there should be an optional method of fastening the apron, to cope with windy conditions, such as I encountered both on last Tuesdays walk, and on one or two previous occasions. On the most recent occasion I eventually used a safety pin to hold it, but I think that continual pinning will spoil this fabric.

I brought the kilt at the sale price, but I think it would be well worth the full price once the sale is over.

Along with my black denim and leather kilts from Union Kilts this is another fantastic kilt, comfortable, practical and stylish - what more can I say!?
